Dental Assistance (English and French)

To train students in scheduling, patient reception, material preparation, treatment assistance, postoperative care, prevention and treatment planning, waste management, administrative tasks, and lab work for dentures and models.

To enable the students to acquire the knowledge, skills and attitudes required to make appointments, receive patients, prepare the necessary materials and assist the dentist in dispensing oral treatments; to advise patients regarding postoperative care; to perform tasks related to prevention and treatment planning, and the control of contamination and biomedical waste management; to perform routine administrative tasks; to make denture pieces and models in a laboratory.
